Inspiring Women

As the Women With Wings Clinic in Bright, Australia approaches I am thinking more about my female inspirations in this sport.

One being Kari Castle. I admire her because she is bold, adventurous, funny and of course she flies, launches and lands exceptionally well.

Great footage! I had not quite started hang gliding then, but Ive was privileged to have met Kari in many comps around the world, and her example always inspires me never to give up, to get up and try again, to keep learning. Thanks Kathryn for finding this great little film!

yeah, she's awesome. great talent, great attitude, and doesn't look or sound like Kari has changed one bit.
