Waiting on the north launch at Lake George. Stunning day but its proving tricky to get off. Too cross. Trent, dave and jono went for it but they are braver than i. Now the rest of us wait for some change, anything ..well some east would be nice!
just heard on radio dave is 20Km heading east and trent has gone 10km south west.
Great decision to wait, K. There's always the next day if you wait. Aviation is just not an endeavor to have an "I think I can make that" attitude - at all.
So, enjoy the nice day and be happy for others.
Off to read Helen's awsome Corryong write up. Check it out!

@ Tom yes I agree, you can't think "well here it goes, let's hope for the best"!! You have to know and have confidence in yourself and your skills. Saying that when I probably would never have done many of my launches on new sites - you always think..hmmm, this is new, I am nervous...like my first time in Manilla, Bassano, Tegelberg, my first solo...
